PBA Media Bureau</figcaption></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines – The San Miguel Beermen are in a must-win situation entering their final four games in the elimination round of the 2019 PBA Commissioner&#x27;s Cup.The powerhouse team currently has a 2-5 win-loss record, which only puts them at 10th place in the league standings. If the playoffs started today, the perennial championship contenders would not be participating in the quarterfinals.&quot;Hindi kami masaya doon sa 2-5,&quot; San Miguel veteran Arwind Santos said Sunday, after the Beermen absorbed a 134-132 overtime loss to Columbian Dyip.Because of that defeat, San Miguel will have to win all of its remaining games – against NLEX, Phoenix, Rain or Shine, and Meralco – just to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot. Santos acknowledged that they are in a tough situation, but believes the Beermen can still make it happen.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://sports.abs-cbn.com/pba/news/2019/07/02/pba-hotshots-team-watch-big-week-comma-s-cup-58530">READ: Hotshots team to watch in big week in Comm’s Cup</a></li></ul>&quot;Hindi namin masabi kung sa mga natitirang games, maka-catch up pa kami,&quot; he admitted.&quot;Pero siyempre, ang magdadala na lang nito, sabi nga ni Coach Leo (Austria), &#x27;yung pride namin,&quot; he added. Austria has often referred to San Miguel&#x27;s pride as a major reason for their continued success, especially when the Beermen have their backs against the wall.Santos is hoping that they will show that same pride this time around, if only to salvage a playoff appearance and then work from there.&quot;Papayag ba kami na matalo na lang sa mga natitira naming laro, or lalaban pa kami?&quot; he said. &quot;Or, susubukan pa rin naming kunin &#x27;yung maliit na chance na hindi pa naman tapos talaga.&quot;&quot;Kung nag-sarado ang pinto, may bintana pa. So, depende na lang sa amin talaga &#x27;yun,&quot; said Santos.To do this, however, San Miguel will have to play much better than they are right now. Santos is the first to say that their defense leaves much to be desired – &quot;Ang taas ng score,&quot; he lamented after the game.&quot;Hindi &#x27;yun &#x27;yung San Miguel talaga,&quot; he also noted.According to Santos, their team often struggles in the Commissioner&#x27;s Cup, as having a big import throws a wrench in their line-up.&quot;Like ako, minsan hindi mo alam kung ika-kwatro mo ako, ite-tres mo ako. &#x27;Yung position ni June Mar (Fajardo) at saka nung import namin, halos pareho, minsan hindi nagiging effective, minsan effective,&quot; said Santos.&quot;May mga ganoon.
