Coach Jong Uichico tweeted his apology past midnight.

Castro and the aforementioned players' remorseful tone contrasted with some of their teammates.

Terrence Romeo insisted he did nothing wrong.

In an interview with the media, Matthew Wright said the episode was just an example of players having "each other's backs."

“Everyone knows we’re gracious hosts, but if you push us to a limit, there’s only so much we can do,” Wright said.

“I’m just happy that everyone stood up for each other.”
