Josh Albelda, <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com/vleague/photos">ABS-CBN Sports</a></div></figcaption></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines – Bali Pure player-coach Charo Soriano and star Alyssa Valdez admitted that Pocari Sweat was the better team after they lost to the Lady Warriors in Game 3 of their semifinals series in the V-League Season 13 Open Conference on Monday.The Purest Water Defenders led 1-0 in the best-of-three series after sweeping Pocari in Game 1 last week, but lost Game 2 in five sets, then squandered a one-set advantage in the deciding Game 3, eventually losing in four.Valdez and Grethcel Soltones were comprehensively outplayed by Pocari&#x27;s powerful pair of Elaine Kasilag and Myla Pablo, while Michele Gumabao was a force at the net along with Siemens Dadang and Luth Malaluan.&quot;It&#x27;s really a painful loss for Bali Pure,&quot; Soriano admitted after their 25-15, 24-26, 11-25, 25-23 setback. &quot;You can really see that Pocari has a more solid team. They played as a team,&quot; she said.&quot;Wala namang excuse kung bakit kami natalo. They had everything today,&quot; said Valdez, who also congratulated the Lady Warriors for their victory.Soriano, who did not suit up in any of the three games of the semi-finals, admitted that they were not consistent in Game 3, instead exhibiting erratic play. They had some strong moments, notably in the first set and the early stretches of the fourth when Jem Ferrer repeatedly set up Valdez for powerful kills.However, the Water Defenders also had truly poor moments, especially in the third frame when their floor and net defense completely collapsed against a bevy of attacks from Pablo and Kasilag.&quot;Our game was up and down,&quot; Soriano acknowledged. &quot;They played more steady and composed, and their composure really won the game. We had several errors in the fourth set, and the minor errors cost us the game.&quot;Soriano was quick to point out that Bali Pure has no time to dwell on their loss. They return to action next week in a best-of-three battle for third place against the Laoag Power Smashers, who lost to Air Force in their own semis series.&quot;The tournament is not over,&quot; she said. &quot;We still have a best-of-three series against Laoag, and we have to prepare for that. We can&#x27;t be complacent and lax.
