<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/sports/06/13/061317-valdez.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Alyssa Valdez. <cite>Richard Esguerra, <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com/uaap/volleyball/photos" target="_blank">ABS-CBN Sports</a></cite></div></figcaption></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines – Creamline skipper Alyssa Valdez defused rumors that she will not complete the Philippine women&#x27;s national team&#x27;s upcoming training camp in Japan due to commitments with her club team.Unfounded rumors circulating on social media on Sunday morning alleged that Valdez, a member of the national team that will compete in the Southeast Asian Games, will not fully attend the Japan training camp scheduled for July 17 to August 2.However, Valdez made it clear on Sunday that her intent is to be with the national team for the entirety of the camp.&quot;That&#x27;s the plan naman, to train with the team for the whole duration of the national team training,&quot; Valdez said after leading Creamline to a four-set win over Philippine Air Force in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.&quot;And then, when we get back here, we have ilang days lang tapos may tournament na nga kami,&quot; she added, referring to the AVC Women&#x27;s Senior Championships on August 9-17.&quot;That&#x27;s the original plan, and I think we&#x27;re going to stick with it naman,&quot; Valdez reiterated.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com/pvl/news/2017/07/09/cool-smashers-grab-share-lead-win-third-straight-28413">READ: Cool Smashers grab share of lead, win third straight</a></li></ul>Valdez admits that if she could, she would fulfill her obligations for Creamline and the national team. &quot;Definitely, it&#x27;s hard for me, kasi commitments are commitments,&quot; she says.&quot;But I&#x27;m really thankful for Creamline, na they&#x27;re very supportive sa national team, sa teammates ko and sa mga coaches, na hopefully naiintindihan nila na bansa muna over everything else,&quot; she added.Valdez was also clearly confused at the rumors that she will skip parts of their training camp. &quot;Hindi ko alam kung saan nababasa itong mga nangyayaring ito, parang &#x27;di ko rin alam kung saan lumalabas,&quot; she said.&quot;Kung mabibigyan ng chance, siyempre may commitment din naman tayo sa Creamline… so siyempre, let&#x27;s be open to all the possibilities, but the plan is to really train with them (the national team) naman,&quot; she stressed.Valdez is set to miss Creamline&#x27;s last three games of the elimination round, and should they make it that far, the start of the playoffs. Nevertheless, she is positive that her team can march on without her.&quot;Definitely, magdo-doble time naman lahat din, ang mga coaching staff and mga teammates ko,&quot; she said.So far, Creamline has won all three of its matches in the elimination round.
