PVL Media Bureau.</figcaption></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines -- (UPDATED) Chery Tiggo racked up its second win in a row in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference, sweeping Cignal HD on Monday evening at the PCV Socio-Civic Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte. The Crossovers got contributions from virtually every player in a 25-16, 25-13, 25-19 triumph over the HD Spikers. It took Chery Tiggo just an hour and 13 minutes to complete the win that took them to 2-0 in the conference.Leading the way for the Crossovers were Jaja Santiago and Arianne Layug, who each scored 15 points. Dindin Santiago-Manabat also added seven markers.&quot;We just want to thank God that we&#x27;re still healthy and strong despite the adjustments that we have to do,&quot; Chery Tiggo coach Aaron Velez said after the game. The Crossovers were dominant in the first two sets, with Santiago doing damage from all angles including the service line, where she scored three aces. They continued to cruise in the third set, but their own errors as well as improved play from Cignal HD allowed the HD Spikers to claw their way back. A huge block by Norielle Ipac on Santiago made it a four-point game, 23-19.It was too little, too late for Cignal HD, however. Elaine Kasilag fired a crosscourt hit to bring Chery Tiggo to match point, 24-19, and then served up an ace -- their fifth of the match -- to secure the win.&quot;Definitely, we still have to work on a lot of things,&quot; Velez acknowledged, even as his side has yet to drop a set in the tournament.&quot;We played quite sluggish, but I&#x27;m still happy that the players were able to execute what they&#x27;re expected to execute,&quot; he added.Cignal HD, which was making its debut in the conference, drew 12 points from Janine Marciano. But no other player scored in double figures, as the HD Spikers managed just 24 attack points while giving up 42 kills to Chery Tiggo.
