This acted up again when it got smeared with petroleum jelly in the Thurman fight.“Mag-backtrack tayo ng kaunti. After the Broner fight, may eye patch si Manny. Sabi ng duktor may scratched cornea, hindi naman retina. Kasi kung nayroon na siyang scratched cornea tapos hindi fully healed at sumasakit ang mata, alam naman natin ang boxing is a contact sport at ang mata ay ang number one weapon mo diyan. At kung kundi mo makita ang suntok, may kalalagyan ka na,” he said.He cited the case of boxing legend “Sugar” Ray Leonard who had a partially detached retina that forced him to temporarily retire from boxing.“Ito ay already an interesting sign for Manny Pacquiao… ang delikado dito ay kung may detached retina ka na, iyon ang career-ending.
