AFP</div></figcaption></figure></div>MANILA - Filipino boxer Charly Suarez, competing in his first Olympic Games, relied on YouTube to scout his first opponent, Britain&#x27;s Joseph Cordina.Suarez faces Cordina in the lightweight division preliminaries at the Riocentro Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro, at 4:00 a.m. (Manila time).The 27-year old admitted he has yet to see the 24-year-old Cordina fight in person, but added: &quot;I&#x27;ve seen him fight on YouTube.&quot;&quot;He&#x27;s a good boxer,&quot; Suarez said. &quot;He fights right and left, and he&#x27;s tall.&quot;Cordina is three inches taller than the 5-foot-6 Suarez, and is three years younger. He is the reigning European champion at 60-kg.So serious is Suarez about his first match that he opted to skip the opening ceremony, along with Filipino light flyweight Rogen Ladon who drew a bye in the first round and will not see action until August 8.Ladon only needs to win two matches to assure himself of a bronze medal.
