Playing as Air Asia in the 2014 All-Filipino Conference, they finished in fourth place, and were the runners-up in the 2014 Grand Prix as Generika, and in the 2015 All-Filipino Conference as Shopinas.In the Grand Prix last year, De Jesus fielded a new cast of Lady Spikers featuring Mika Reyes, Kim Fajardo, Cyd Demecillo, Majoy Baron, and Dawn Macandili, carrying the banner of Meralco.However, they also bombed out of contention, finishing at fifth place.&quot;We&#x27;re more focused and concentrated, because we haven&#x27;t tasted any title outside the UAAP and other collegiate leagues,&quot; De Jesus pointed out. &quot;I hope this will be it. We&#x27;re hungry to win.&quot;Foton, for its part, seems to be peaking at the right time. The Tornadoes had a slow start in the first round, but dominated the second phase as they clobbered the other top teams in the league.Jaja Santiago, Angeli Araneta, and Maika Ortiz are a force to reckon with in the middle, while spikers EJ Laure, Cherry Rondina, and Patty Orendain have meshed well with veteran setter Rhea Dimaculangan.&quot;We&#x27;re peaking at the right time,&quot; said Foton coach Villet Ponce-de Leon. &quot;I just hope we can sustain the momentum and carry it to the finals. F2 Logistics is such a young and dangerous team. We have to deliver our best effort to overcome them.&quot;De Jesus predicts an exciting series, with the hungrier, more mature team emerging as champions.&quot;I think it all boils down to maturity.
