<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img alt="Kenneth Jiane " Villa.="" Courtesy:="" MPL="" src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2022/sports/08/19/kenji-8192022.jpg"/><figcaption>Kenneth Jiane &quot;Kenji&quot; Villa.<em> Courtesy: MPL Philippines </em></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA (<strong>UPDATED</strong>) -- Defending MPL Philippines champions RSG Philippines finally came away with a win against TNC Pro Team, who crashed to their third straight loss in the regular season of MPL Season 10 the ICITE Auditorium in Quezon City, Friday. </p><p>The game marked Southeast Asian Games gold medalist Jiane &quot;Kenji&quot; Villa&#x27;s return to professional play after being sidelined for most of Season 9 and the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup in Malaysia, where the Kingslayers earned the title last June. He replaced last season&#x27;s Grand Finals MVP Nathanael &quot;Nathzzz&quot; Estrologo. </p><p>An attack by Arvee &quot;Aqua&quot; Arvonio on the 16th minute in Game 1 from the backline negated TNC&#x27;s counter-engage down the lord, leading to a double kill and breathing space for RSG to march down their opponents&#x27; base. </p><p>Aqua earned the MVP honors in Game 1 with his Kagura, behind a flawless 5 kill and 5 assist record. </p><p>Kenji&#x27;s Uranus cut minion waves early into Game 2, and paid dividends in zoning out the opponents towards the late game. </p><p>The SEA Games medalist ended his MPL return with a MVP nod, behind three kills, three deaths, and eight assists. </p><p>&quot;Biglaan din kasi to eh kasi 3 days pa lang kami nagpapractice kaya may kanunting kaba kasi hindi pa ano parang safe na safe,&quot; Kenji said during the post-match interview. </p><p>RSG Philippines now have a 1-1 record, while TNC Pro Team remain at the bottom of standings, with a 0-3 slate -- a far cry from their performance during the last regular season, when they at one point became the league&#x27;s frontrunners. </p><p>&quot;I feel like TNC is like us. The strategy we are using is [a lot like theirs]. Not much difference in like the heroes. I&#x27;m not saying this is bad.
