It was Onic&#x27;s first loss in 5 games. In other MPL action, Nexplay EVOS extended their 3-game winning streak after taking down Echo PH in straight sets. It took two clean games for Nexplay EVOS to take down the former Aura PH squad, taking Nexplay EVOS to 3rd place, next to Onic. Meanwhile, MPL Season 7 MVP Edward will be celebrating his birthday with a bang, as Blacklist International moved to the top of the league rankings after a 2-0 sweep of Bren Esports. Blacklist International staved off a pesky and defensive Bren squad around 27 minutes in to draw first blood. Bren were poised to level the series, with Karl &quot;KarlTzy&quot; Nepomuceno&#x27;s surprise Paquito draft rolling tough punches against the defending champs. But a setup by Salic &quot;Hadji&quot; Imam in the 16th-minute mark, gave Blacklist enough breathing space to destroy 4 players and eventually bust the base of Bren, which remain at the bottom of the standings following the loss.
