Arvin Lim, <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com/pvl/photos">ABS-CBN Sports</a></figcaption></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines – Adamson University star Jema Galanza won&#x27;t allow a gruesome ankle injury to prevent her from playing in her final season of eligibility for the Lady Falcons in the UAAP Season 80 women&#x27;s volleyball tournament.Galanza suffered the injury in the third set of their PVL Collegiate Conference game against De La Salle-College of St. Benilde last Monday, and was immediately rushed to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center where her right ankle was reset.The extent of the injury was not immediately clear, but given the angle of Galanza&#x27;s foot, Adamson coach Air Padda acknowledged that there is a chance her star spiker may be out for the UAAP season. Certainly, Galanza can no longer suit up for the Lady Falcons for the rest of the PVL conference.But they got good news on Wednesday when it was revealed that Galanza can recover in time for the women&#x27;s volleyball tournament, which starts early next year.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com/pvl/news/2017/09/25/adamson-gains-semis-seat-loses-galanza-ankle-injury-31389">READ: Adamson gains semis seat, loses Galanza to ankle injury</a></li></ul>&quot;Sobrang thankful po ako ng walang nangyaring masama,&quot; a relieved Galanza told TJ Manotoc on &quot;The Score&quot; on Wednesday evening. &quot;Kasi po, last playing year ko na po, so gusto ko pong may mapatunayan,&quot; she added. &quot;At gusto ko po na makapasok ang Adamson (sa Final 4) na andoon ako.&quot;Galanza had been Adamson&#x27;s lone bright spot during their disappointing Season 79 campaign, when they managed only one victory.
