MANILA, Philippines – Come for Alvin Pasaol&#x27;s scoring exploits, stay for Manong Derrick Pumaren&#x27;s fashion statements.This has been how games of University of the East (UE) have played out in UAAP Season 80 recently, with the high-scoring Pasaol finding himself sharing the spotlight with his coach&#x27;s eyebrow-raising sartorial choices.Pumaren initially drew stares with his outfit in their game against University of the Philippines last Sunday, when he wore a checkered polo on top of a grey shirt and paired it with ankle-length jeans and white shoes – with ankle socks.&quot;Hindi naman fashion statement,&quot; said Pumaren after the game, which saw UE stun UP, 73-64, thanks to a 32-point performance from Pasaol. &quot;Pagiging bata sa mga bata. If it will energize your team, &#x27;di ba, why not?&quot;Indeed, Franz said he may take a page out of his older brother&#x27;s playbook if it means firing up his own Adamson team.&quot;Same goes with me.
