<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img alt="Photo from PVL Media Bureau" src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2023/sports/11/07/20231107-jolina-dela-cruz.jpg"/><figcaption><em>Photo from PVL Media Bureau</em></figcaption></figure></div><h2>Tubu&#x27;s 30 pts not enough as win remains elusive for Foxies</h2><p>MANILA<strong> (UPDATED)</strong> – Ivy Lacsina and Jolina Dela Cruz&#x27;s career performances propelled the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers past the Farm Fresh Foxies in a thriller, 28-26, 20-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-8 in the 2023 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday at PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.</p><p>Lacsina and Dela Cruz combined for 54 points -- enough to offset a career-best 30-point outing from Farm Fresh&#x27;s Trisha Tubu, the league&#x27;s leading scorer.</p><p>Tubu and Dela Cruz faced off late in Set 4, where they traded points. A Dela Cruz attack gave Cargo Movers the lead at 22-21, but Tubu answered back with a hit to even the score.</p><p>Tubu later on scored two consecutive points for the Foxies, propelling them to set point, 24-22. Another attack from Dela Cruz inched them closer 24-23, but Tubu took the set for the Foxies.</p><p>It was Lacsina&#x27;s turn to duel Tubu in the decider, but Cargo Movers got away with little opposition from the Foxies, starting with a 4-0 lead.</p><p>Lacsina, who scored 7 of her 27 markers in the fifth set including the game-winning kill, said that she gave it all to win.</p><p>&quot;Siyempre, alam naman natin na &#x27;yung fifth set is hanggang 15 lang, so sabi ko wala namang mawawala sa &#x27;kin kung ibibigay ko lahat,&quot; the former La Salle star said.</p><p>&quot;Tapos si Coach Reg (Diego) po, nasa tabi ko, sabi niya ilaban ko lang daw nang ilaban,&quot; she added, who also had 10 excellent digs and receptions under her belt.</p><p>F2 head coach Regine Diego said the coaching staff is there to help develop their young stars.</p><p>&quot;This team... they need more reminders, they need more guidance because they are younger. That&#x27;s part of it... para siyang part of growing up dito sa pro, and hopefully they really learn from that.
