George Calvelo, ABS-CBN News</figcaption></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines—Three members of the San Beda Red Lions were among those honored ahead of Game 2 of NCAA Season 95 men&#x27;s basketball Finals on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.Calvin Oftana formally received the season&#x27;s Most Valuable Player award, after a campaign that saw him make the leap from little-used reserve to San Beda&#x27;s most potent weapon off the bench.Oftana averaged 15.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game this year, starring for a San Beda team that went unbeaten in the elimination round.Joining him in the Mythical Five were the &quot;Bandana Brothers,&quot; the sophomore tandem of James Canlas and Evan Nelle who became breakout stars for San Beda in Season 95.For Oftana, however, all of their energies were focused on the upcoming game.The Red Lions had lost for the first time in Season 95 after bowing to Letran in Game 1, 65-64, and another defeat will spell the end of what has been a dream season for them.&quot;Wala na sa isip ko &#x27;yun,&quot; Oftana said of the MVP award, after last Tuesday&#x27;s loss. &quot;Gusto ko lang ngayon, manalo kami sa Game 2.&quot;Joining the San Beda stars in the Mythical Five were Lyceum&#x27;s Jaycee Marcelino and San Sebastian gunner Allyn Bulanadi. JM Calma received the award in place of Bulanadi, who is playing for Basilan in the MPBL.Also honored were San Beda&#x27;s Donald Tankoua as the league&#x27;s Best Foreign Player, and Lyceum&#x27;s Mike Nzeusseu as the league&#x27;s Best Defensive Foreign Player.The league&#x27;s foreign student-athletes also received certificates of appreciation from the NCAA.
