Dennis Gasgonia, ABS-CBN News</figcaption></figure></div>National head coach Yeng Guiao said he would have wanted to finish Wednesday&#x27;s tune-up game with Jordan, which packed up and left after a heated contest at Meralco Gym.What was supposed to be a friendly game ended abruptly when the visitors walked out after a verbal joust between the squads particularly, Guiao and counterpart Joseph Steibing in the early part of the fourth quarter.The nationals were leading 82-73 before the game was halted&quot;Natatalo sila, so alam nila na wala na silang panalo, ayaw na nilang maglaro,&quot; Guiao said.The Philippines had to claw back from a 19-point deficit in the first half before taking the lead late in the third quarter. &quot;We really played a bad first half. I felt that there was a lack effort, lack of desire on our part. But sila andami nilang second motion. Even the incident that triggered the whole thing, their player threw the ball to our player. It was unnecessary . . . We did not do anything to them that they did not deserve,&quot; Guiao said.The verbal altercation was triggered by a second motion committed by a Jordanian who hurled the ball at Scottie Thompson when the latter was whistled for a foul 6:26 remaining in the game.But before that, a near free-for-all took place when another Jordanian hit Christian Standhardinger with a hard foul early in the second quarter.Angering Guiao even more was Steibing&#x27;s harsh words on him.&quot;The coach said he was going to take my ass. The commotion took place four months after the infamous brawl between the Philippines and Australia.&quot;Wala naman tayong ginagawa sa kanila, naglalaro lang tayo. &#x27;Yang (expletive) coach na &#x27;yan, akala mo kung sinong siga, nandito tayo hindi naman lalaban ng suntukan &#x27;yang (expletive) &#x27;yan e,&quot; said Guiao.&quot;I just don&#x27;t want us to be bullied in our own country.
