Returning the favor: UP Pep drummers play Adamson, UE cheers

MANILA -- Drummers of the University of the Philippines (UP) Pep Squad expressed their gratitude to their counterparts from Adamson University and University of the East by playing the two schools' signature cheer.

The video, which was posted on YouTube by Dox delos Reyes last Friday, showed the UP Pep drummers playing the signature cheer of the two universities.

UP Pep also thanked the two teams for their "beautiful and amazing gesture of friendship" through a post on their official Facebook page.

"Our sincerest gratitude to Adamson and UE drummers for this beautiful and amazing gesture of friendship," UP Pep wrote in the caption.

Aamson and UE drummers earlier paid tribute to the UP Pep Squad by playing its signature cheer.

UP Pep Squad skipped this year's cheerdance competition due in part to their failure to reach a resolution with the competition's organizers.
