Tough trucks make a splash in Argao, Cebu

<p>CEBU -- It was sunny, muddy and splashy during the last leg of the National Association of Filipino Off Roaders (NAsFOR) Cup 4x4 Extreme Off-road Challenge-Philippine Tough Truck Challenge 16 at the Argao River in Argao, Cebu last weekend.</p><p>Off-roaders from around the country participated in the culminating race for this year.</p><p>It was a time trial race, where drivers having the fastest time wins. Drivers had to maneuver their trucks in the changing depth of the Argao River as rains from the previous days poured on the mountains and flowed down.</p><p>Challenges included waist-deep waters, muddy multiple humps and steep “walls of death.” A tricky Figure 8 course in the middle of the river also tested the drivers&#x27; skills in negotiating tight curves.</p><p>Jiggy Rodriguez of 4Wheelers Davao dominated the last leg, while Cesar P.
