In his return match, he needed just 23 seconds to stop Adrian Mattheis, before settling the score against an old rival in <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/11/04/23/mma-lito-adiwang-decisions-jeremy-miado-in-rematch">Jeremy Miado</a> to end 2023 on a victorious note.</p><p>While &quot;Mini T&quot; is not the ranked opponent that Adiwang has called for, he is still happy with the match-up as he believes Williams will make for an exciting fight.</p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/01/10/24/in-2024-lito-adiwang-vows-to-put-on-a-show-in-each-fight">MMA: In 2024, Lito Adiwang vows to put on a show in each fight</a></div><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/10/26/23/mma-resurgent-adiwang-says-hes-now-in-a-better-place">MMA: Resurgent Adiwang says he&#x27;s now in a &#x27;better place&#x27;</a></div><div><br/></div><p>&quot;Though I didn&#x27;t get a ranked opponent, I&#x27;m always happy to get a fight,&quot; Adiwang said. &quot;I have always said that I&#x27;ll face anyone. Although I would&#x27;ve preferred a fighter in the top five, Mini T is not someone you take lightly.&quot; </p><p>Williams is currently 6-2 for his MMA career, with vicious knockout wins over former ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, and Zelang Zhaxi to his name. </p><p>He is also one of the few fighters who actively jump between MMA and the striking arts. While he has lost to the likes of World Champions like flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang Jitmuangnon, flyweight kickboxing ruler Superlek Kiatmoo9 and strawweight kickboxing champ Jonathan di Bella, he&#x27;s shown that he won&#x27;t back down from any fight.</p><div><br/></div><p>Adiwang thus believes that Williams will be a good test for him, particularly his striking skills.</p><p>&quot;He&#x27;s fought the best strikers like Rodtang, Superlek and Di Bella. I think his goal here in ONE is to fight the best strikers in the world, that&#x27;s why they gave him to me,&quot; he said. &quot;What I want to show is that my striking also belongs on the top.&quot; </p><p>And if he extends his winning streak against Williams, Adiwang is confident that he can crack the rankings and establish himself as a contender for the title.</p><p>&quot;I think I&#x27;ll enter the top five with a win. Some of those in the top five have already competed, and I expect them to drop out with the losses,&quot; he said. </p><p>&quot;This would be my third consecutive win, if I win and I believe I deserve to be in the top five.
