The Letran Squires’ NCAA Season 98 Finals MVP, who is currently playing for Veritas Academy National Prep in the United States, will be suiting up for Fil-Am Nation Select March’s National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Finals, it was announced earlier Wednesday.

“A Philippine basketball gift. Andy Gemao, the No. 1 HS player is coming back to Manila to win the NBTC Finals with Fil-Am Nation and crew,” the team wrote.

The high-flying 17-year-old, who averaged 18.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.2 steals in Letran High School’s Season 98 championship campaign, previously played in the tournament’s all-star game.

He will now be trying to help Fil-Am Nation, who previously fell in the finals against National University-Nazareth School, 76-64.

This, as well as his stint with Veritas Prep, are all part of his bid of hopefully getting a US NCAA Division I offer.
