Photo from NCAA Philippines."/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">St. Benilde’s Tony Ynot. <em>Photo from NCAA Philippines</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — De La Salle-College of St. Benilde avoided a complete meltdown in their overtime bout against San Sebastian College-Recoletos.</p><p>The Blazers escaped with a 96-94 victory on Tuesday at the San Juan Arena during their NCAA Season 100 men&#x27;s basketball tournament, with Tony Ynot and Jhomel Ancheta taking over in the clutch.</p><p>Ynot posted five of his 23 total points in overtime while also tallying eight rebounds, eight assists, and a steal but with six turnovers, while Ancheta&#x27;s two points turned out to be the most important for the Taft-based cagers as it eventually served as the game-winner for CSB.</p><p>Also contributing to their win was Allen Liwag who had a 17-point, 11-rebound game, and also delivering crucial plays was Justine Sanchez who scored eight markers and grabbed 10 rebounds.</p><p>However, Benilde head coach Charles Tiu was not happy with the way his boys played, especially since they allowed 31 turnovers that resulted in their 67-41 lead disappearing in a flash. </p><p>&quot;This is maybe the worst win of my life. I don&#x27;t want to say anything. I&#x27;m really, really mad. It&#x27;s an embarrassment, and we&#x27;re a joke right now. We gave up 31 turnovers, parang binibigay namin sa kanila yung bola eh. Nakakahiya talaga,&quot; he emphasized in the postgame presser. </p><p>He even also downplayed the shot of Ancheta that allowed them to escape with the win. </p><p>&quot;Lahat ng point guard ko, kung anu-anong ginagawa eh. May five turnovers, four turnovers, wala na akong mabunot. So sabi ko: &#x27;Sige, bigyan natin ng chance.&#x27; Nagkakalat siya ng buong game, so maybe he&#x27;s bound to make something happen,&quot; he said.</p><p>&quot;Pero kahit yung tira na yun, chamba lang eh. I&#x27;m really upset, I&#x27;m really in a foul mood right now,&quot; he added. &quot;Chamba lang talaga yung panalo namin. This is not the standard that we want.&quot;</p><p>Tiu was also lost for words when asked about why they almost lost hold of their sixth win in seven games. </p><p>&quot;I wouldn&#x27;t say lack of preparation.
