UAAP Media.</figcaption></figure>MANILA (UPDATED) -- Adamson University&#x27;s long wait for another UAAP boys&#x27; basketball championship is over.The Baby Falcons pulled away in the fourth quarter to overpower National University-Nazareth School, xx-xx, in the do-or-die Game 3 of the Season 86 Finals on Sunday afternoon at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan. With the massive win, Adamson has clinched its first juniors basketball crown since 1993, when then-coach and now-player agent Charlie Dy steered the Baby Falcons to the Season 56 championship. Adamson had outlasted the Bullpups in Game 1, 77-71, before NUNS showed its grit in pulling off a 67-64 triumph in Game 2 to force the decider.But the Baby Falcons would not be denied, as they utilized their full court pressure defense to force the Bullpups into costly turnovers that they turned into transition points, breaking the game open in the final quarter. &quot;I would like to thank God, as well as the Adamson community for this championship. Ang sarap ng pagkakapanalo nito,&quot; said a jubilant coach Mike Fermin.The Bullpups had clawed back from 15 points down in Game 2 to force a decider, and they were still within striking distance, 49-45, midway through the third period.But the Baby Falcons ensured that this time, there would be no collapse. They steadily pulled away and put the game to bed with 3:15 to go off an Earl Medina slam dunk that made it 86-59. Mark Esperanza, who scored nine of his 13 points in the first half where Adamson built a 43-32 lead, was named the Finals MVP. He averaged 9.3 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and two steals per game.&quot;Tinabraho namin ito. Nakinig po kami sa mga coaches at nagtiwala kami sa isa&#x27;t isa.
