FEU veteran Chen Tagaod said that this is showing how things are moving according to their plan. </p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/2024/3/17/tagaod-bakanke-lead-feu-in-4-set-win-over-ateneo-1758">READ: Tagaod, Bakanke lead FEU in 4-set win over Ateneo</a></div><p>&quot;&#x27;Yun naman po talaga &#x27;yung goal,&quot; said Tagaod who had 18 points, 13 receptions, and 10 digs in their win over the Ateneo Blue Eagles, while also explaining how their current record would be playing a role as the season progresses</p><p>&quot;Ngayon na papasok na po sa second round, mas malaki &#x27;yung role na gagampanan namin kasi nga &#x27;yung standing namin ngayon, kailangan namin siyang ipagpatuloy and kailangang maging consistent,&quot; she added.</p><p>FEU&#x27;s three losses came against the top three teams in the league, as they faltered against the UST Golden Tigresses, the DLSU Lady Spikers, and the NU Lady Bulldogs.</p><p>For head coach Manolo Refugia, they will have to show some consistency in their play if they hope to overcome the league-leaders in the second round.</p><p>&quot;Sa tingin ko, mas kailangan namin maging consistent dun sa ginagawa namin,&quot; said the rookie coach.</p><p>&quot;Knowing na yung sa tatlong talo namin, parang naramdaman nila na kaya namin lumaban pala. So nakita nila, na-feel nila, naramdaman nila kung paano kalaban yung nasa Top 3, or yung dating nasa Final Four.&quot; </p><p>&quot;Naramdaman, na-feel nila. So, etong magiging preparation siguro sa second round is yung habulin yung mga dapat habulin na skills para mapagaralan namin yung mga tatlong yun,&quot; he continued.</p><p>Aside from this, Refugia added that FEU can further move towards the upper echelon of the league if they will not overlook those who are below them in the standings. </p><p>&quot;Tapos syempre, hindi pwede na pabayaan pa rin yung ibang teams. Syempre, ayun yung mabigat sa second round, &#x27;di natin alam kung lahat ba eh papataas o meron bang pababa so, kailangan maging ready sa lahat so baunin yung mga dapat baunin na bala namin,&quot; he said.</p><p>Moving forward, Tin Ubaldo believes that they must use their record as a confidence booster heading into their next set of seven games instead of letting it come into their heads. </p><p>&quot;We’re confident pero not too confident kasi maglalaban-laban pa ulit lahat at bilog pa rin &#x27;yung bola.
