The 6-foot-5, former San Beda University star ruled the 2024 PBA All-Star three-point shootout on Saturday at the University of St. La Salle Gym in Bacolod, besting over two-peat-seeking Paul Lee.

Oftana, who made 22 points during the contest’s elimination round, only finished third behind Chris Newsome who had 28, and Lee who had 25.

But it was in the final wherein the one-time NCAA MVP waxed hot, firing 25 points in the title round to beat the Magnolia Hotshots star 20 and the Meralco Bolts guard’s 15.

Finally, NorthPort’s JM Calma ruled the obstacle challenge after he only needed 26 points to complete all stations. He won over the E-Painters’ Santi Santillan who finished at 29 seconds and Magnolia’s James Laput who clocked 30 seconds.
