One of the Crypto.com Arena’s tenants is moving out after a quarter of a century.

The Los Angeles Clippers hosted their final regular season home game at the Crypto.com Arena this past weekend.

Since it opened in 1999, the Clippers have shared the arena with fellow NBA team, the Los Angeles Lakers – as well as the NHL’s Kings.

While the Clippers may have not won world championships in this stadium, they have won the hearts of many local Filipinos.

Throughout those 25 years inside the arena, the Clippers have hosted one of the NBA’s longest-running Filipino Heritage Nights.

While a few Filipinas have also danced for the Clippers Spirit, Filipino-American photographer Varon Panganiban has captured images of the team over the past 15 years.

But no matter the occasion, every game day had been a chance for Filipino families to enjoy LA Live.

"We were stoked," said Sheng Grecia, who came from Chula Vista. "We drove an hour and a half to be here."

For Filipino fans like Jonathan Ilagan, Clipper Nation extends beyond this arena.

He said he is excited to see the team play its games in the state-of-the-art arena that officially opens in August, with a pair of Bruno Mars concerts.

"We're so excited that we’re going to have our own house," said Ilagan. "They’re really into community."

After earning the fourth seed in the Western Conference, the Clippers will open the playoffs with at least two home games against the Dallas Mavericks starting April 21.

The Clippers are moving to the newly built Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California in October in time for the NBA's next season. The new home arena of the Clippers is expected to be  touting the latest technology and features that the team says will make their loyal fan base proud

Before the Clippers move to the Intuit Dome, they are hoping to rack up a few more postseason wins before leaving Downtown LA.
