MANILA (UPDATED) – The PVL Final Four cast is complete.

Chery Tiggo will advance to the semifinal round of the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference after clinching two sets against already-eliminated Galeries on Thursday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

The Crossovers will join Choco Mucho (26 points), Petro Gazz (25 points), and Creamline (24 points) which already locked postseason seats after securing enough points over PLDT.

The High Speed Hitters only had 20 points before the double-header at the Pasig venue and can only reach a maximum of 23 points.

But ultimately, it was Eya Laure and company who took home the win after five sets against Galeries, 26-24, 23-25, 19-25, 25-12, 15-9 — which also made them the hottest team in the tilt after securing seventh win in same number of matches.

Laure and Ara Galang led Chery Tiggo's offense department with a combined 33 points, while Alina Bicar made the plays with 16 excellent sets.

Laure also displayed her complete skill set after showcasing her defensive prowess with 18 excellent receptions and 11 excellent digs, while Jen Nierva tallied same number of digs.

But it was Alyssa Eroa who put the league on notice after displaying her defensive prowess, logging 25 excellent digs to lead the resistance versus the semis-bound Chery Tiggo.

France Ronquillo (15 points), Andrea Marzan (11 points), and Norielle Ipac (10 points) paced Galeries' firepower in the loss.

After forcing a decider, Chery Tiggo rode on a 5-0 rally from a 5-all deadlock to pull away in the ballgame, sparked by former league Most Valuable Player Mylene Paat who scored off-the-block.

A Marzan service error in the fifth set closed the two-hour, 48-minute affair in front of 2,721 volleyball fans.
