PBA Images</div>MANILA -- Gian Mamuyac hit a huge triple down the stretch to power Rain or Shine to a 110-109 triumph over the TNT Tropang GIGA in Game 3 of their PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinal series on Wednesday.Mamuyac&#x27;s three-pointer with 39 seconds left gave the Elasto Painters a 106-100 lead -- enough to weather the Tropang GIGA&#x27;s last-ditch rally at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.The former Ateneo guard finished with 25 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal, while Jhonard Clarito added 17 points and nine boards.The Elasto Painters won their best-of-3 series, 2-1, and advanced to the semifinals where they will play top-seeded San Miguel Beer in a best-of-seven affair.ROS led by as much as 20 points but a big fourth quarter from Calvin Oftana helped the Tropang GIGA work their way back. Even after Mamuyac&#x27;s clutch three-pointer, TNT still threatened thanks to Kelly Williams, who hit a crunch time triple of his own for a 107-103 count with under 30 seconds to go.A split at the line by Clarito kept the door open for TNT, and Williams nailed yet another triple to make it a one-possession game, 108-106, with under five seconds left.Two free throws by veteran Gabe Norwood iced the game for Rain or Shine, and another triple by Williams to beat the buzzer was not enough to complete the Tropang GIGA&#x27;s comeback.Williams finished with 32 points and 14 rebounds, while Oftana ha 27 points, nine boards, and four dimes.
