This time, mas marami rin akong nilu-look forward na bago kasi nga siyempre for how many years ngayon lang kami ulit nagkasama ni ate Sisi and ni ate Jia [de Guzman],&quot; the Chery Tiggo ace told reporters after the announcement of the team&#x27;s new moniker.</p><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/2024/5/12/jia-de-guzman-to-play-for-national-team-in-avc-challenge-cup-1923" id="isPasted"><strong>RELATED: Volleyball: Jia De Guzman to suit up for national team in AVC Challenge Cup</strong></a></div><p>Laure and Rondina were the leaders of the UST team that reached the finals in UAAP Season 81 but fell to the Bea de Leon-led Ateneo de Manila University in three games exactly five years ago today.</p><p>Rondina then bagged the season&#x27;s top plum and Second Best Outside Spiker, while it was Laure who was First Best Outside Spiker and won the Rookie of the Year award.</p><p>Laure said she&#x27;s also excited to play with UAAP Season 85 MVP Angel Canino.</p><p>&quot;Siyempre, iba &#x27;yung time talaga nung SEA Games 2019, so looking forward ako sa mga teammates ko ngayon. Ayun, may mga bagong additions, kasama rin si Angel [Canino], so very excited lang sa mga bagong learnings and experience na makukuha namin as a team.&quot;</p><p>Coming from a silver finish in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, Rondina said the call up for national team duty was a no-brainer despite getting heads up on short notice and getting less rest.</p><p>&quot;Honestly naman, sabi ko naman if kaya naming magpahinga, kung pwede lang. Pero ayun nga, parang may nag-request so siyempre karangalan din naman &#x27;yung makapaglaro bitbit ang bansa,&quot; said Rondina.</p><p>Filipino fans could expect the same explosive Rondina as the Cebu spiker vowed to work hard for victories.</p><p>&quot;Tatrabahuhin pa rin namin. Sana marami kaming magawang maganda and maganda &#x27;yung resulta,&quot; she said, as the Choco Mucho ace debuts for the indoor division in the upcoming tourney.</p><p>&quot;Siyempre ibang usapan naman &#x27;yun. Kung sino &#x27;man yung ilalagay ni coach, magtatrabaho. Kung ipasok ako, siyempre tatrabahuhin ko naman.
