They gave us the coaching staff, and we&#x27;re now discussing with the coaching staff who will compose the national team for the women&#x27;s,&quot; Palou told ABS-CBN News of their new task.</span></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;text-align:justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:10pt"><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Brazilian Jorge Edson de Brito, the FIVB-assigned coach for the Philippines, will handle the women’s national team.</span></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;text-align:justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:10pt"><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">The AVC Challenge Cup for Women—set May 22 to 29 ag the Rizal Memorial Coliseum—features the Philippine national team against squads from Kazahstan, Iran, Chinese Taipai, Vietnam, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and India.</span></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;text-align:justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:10pt"><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">The PNVF has also forged an alliance with Cignal TV of the MVP Group as its official partner for the men’s national team that will compete in the 32-team FIVB Men’s World Championship 2025 that the country is hosting in September next year.</span></div>
