Talagang ni-lead niya yung Meralco,&quot; Perez said of his Gilas Pilipinas teammate, who was hailed as the 2024 Philippine Cup Finals MVP.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m so proud of him, and deserve niya talaga yung Finals MVP,&quot; he continued, while also hailing the rest of the Meralco squad.</p><p>&quot;Deserving naman, kasi talagang pinaghirapan nila at gustong gusto nila. Kami, we tried our best naman manalo, so ayun,&quot; Perez added.</p><p>Meanwhile, the former Lyceum of the Philippines University star was hard on himself, saying that he still needs a lot to work on with his game moving forward.</p><p>&quot;Madami pa akong weakness. Hindi pa talaga solid yung laro ko, madami pa akong kailangang trabahuhin,&quot; admitted Perez, a top contender for Best Player of the Conference honors in the Philippine Cup.</p><p>&quot;Siyempre, continue ko lang yung mga [magandang] ginagawa ko. I&#x27;m not gonna stop sa mga nakakatulong sa akin.
