But anyway, we are happy today, we make our best, even though we don’t have our best performance,&quot; Perez said during the postgame press conference. </p><p>Perez dropped 30 points on 26 attacks, three aces and a block, while Ces Molina (16 points), Riri Meneses (11 points), and Jacqueline Acuña (11 points) were there to complete Cignal&#x27;s supporting cast.</p><p>&quot;Siyempre, happy kami na nanalo kami today, but then ang dami naming lapses ngayon na dapat naming i-work on, so &#x27;yon, dapat magawa pa rin sa training &#x27;yon,&quot; Molina said.</p><p>ZUS Coffee got the better of Cignal&#x27;s 27 errors; in contrast, Jerry Yee&#x27;s cogs only had 18 faults.</p><p>Complacency shouldn&#x27;t be an option, Molina asserted, even against youthful teams.</p><p>&quot;&#x27;Yung ZUS, bagong team din sila, so kailangan hindi kami maging complacent,&quot; she said.</p><p>Set 2 was a close fight, with ZUS Coffee saving several set points as Gayle Pascual led the charge off a sharp spike to tie the match at 24-apiece.</p><p>After exchanging points late in the frame, from a 27-all count, Ces Molina was there to propel Cignal after back-to-back hits — a down-the-line and off-the-block — for a 2-0 set lead.</p><div><a class="fr-green" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/2024/7/18/wilma-salas-petro-gazz-dedicate-pvl-run-to-late-teammate-janisa-johnson-2319"><strong>READ: Wilma Salas, Petro Gazz dedicate PVL run to late teammate Janisa Johnson</strong></a></div><p>The Thunderbelles took the third chapter after keeping the lead from getting cut down from a 16-15 count as Michelle Gamit&#x27;s attack helped keep ZUS&#x27;s separation. </p><p>The Thunderbelles would erase another Cignal lead in the final canto and closed in at 23-22, but Perez&#x27;s clutch hits allowed them to take the 2-hour, 13-minute affair.</p><p> &quot;Still, I have a feeling that we can do more.
