<p>Italian athlete Gianmarco Tamberi lost his wedding ring during the opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024, and he had a creative and romantic way of apologizing to his wife. </p><p>On Instagram, Tamberi posted his wedding photo with Chiara Bontempi as he said sorry for losing a prized possession. </p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m sorry, my love. I&#x27;m so sorry. Too much water, too many kg lost in the past few months, or maybe the uncontrollable enthusiasm of what we were doing. And if you want, we&#x27;ll throw yours (ring) into that river, too, so they&#x27;ll be together forever,&quot; Tamberi said. &quot;And we&#x27;ll have one more excuse to, like you&#x27;ve always asked, to renew our vows and get married anew.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I love you, my love.
