MANILA -- Filipino fighter Danny "The King" Kingad gets another chance to move up the flyweight ladder when he collides with former ONE Flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes at ONE 169: Atlanta at the State Farm Arena on November 8.

It is a much-needed opportunity for Kingad, who is out to prove that he still belongs in the division's elite.

Now ranked third in the flyweight class, Kingad is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Yuya Wakamatsu at ONE 165, where he looked a shell of his former self.

Moreover, he is also looking to avenge his loss to Moraes in November 2017, when the Brazilian submitted him in the first round of their title bout at ONE: Legends of the World in front of a hometown crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Kingad, who now competes for Lions Nation MMA, is determined to get that win back and dislodge the former champion from his spot as the No. 1-ranked challenger to reigning title-holder Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson.

But Moraes is also seeking redemption after back-to-back losses to Johnson, which saw him lose his belt.

The Kingad-Moraes rematch is part of a stacked card that features the return of two-division MMA world champion Christian Lee, as he defends his lightweight title against Alibeg Rasulov.

Meanwhile, three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin defends his heavyweight strap against "Reug Reug" Oumar Kane.

ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK. Saenchai will also settle a hotly contested trilogy when he takes on the determined "Smokin’" Jo Nattawut.
