MANILA – Cignal ended the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference preliminaries in a victorious manner.

The HD Spikers repelled Nxled in straight sets, 27-25, 25-20, 25-20, on Tuesday at FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan to stretch their unbeaten run to three.

They will be entering the quarterfinals prepared, said coach Shaq delos Santos, but added that they still needed to get focused on their playoff run.

"Siyempre sobrang happy and proud sa team kasi siyempre nakuha namin 'tong last game namin ulit and going to quarterfinals, ready naman 'yung team, kailangan lang din namin mag-ingat, magpakondisyon and mas mag-focus pa," he said.

They need to stay consistent and cautioned against complacency, said captain Ces Molina.

"Siguro biggest takeaway dito is never be complacent kasi lahat ng teams talagang you'll never know kung sino 'yung mananalo," she said.

"Lahat kasi nagpalakas, lahat talagang nag-prepare para dito, and sobrang happy nga namin and agree ako kay coach na kailangan consistent ka from the beginning kasi iba 'yung labanan, ang taas nung labanan at 'yung level ng volleyball ngayon," she went on.

Import MJ Perez delivered a game-high 17 attack points, while Molina chipped in 11 markers for the winning cause to conclude the pool phase with seven wins in eight games.

Meanwhile, Chameleons' Meegan Hat paced the losing side with 16 points. They ended the elimination round with a 1-7 card.
