MANILA -- The TNC Pro Team have been eliminated from the MPL Philippines Season 14 playoff hunt after losing eleven straight games.

This comes after the Phoenix Army absorbed a 0-2 loss against Smart Omega, who are making their playoff comeback after missing it last season.

Omega banked on a crucial takedown on Ken "Kzen" Pile in Game 2 of their matchup.

Omega is the third team to bag a playoffs seat after FNATIC Onic Philippines and Falcons AP Bren bagged theirs over the last couple of weeks.

Omega is currently 3rd in the standings with a 7-4 record. Just behind Falcons AP Bren (8-3) and FNATIC Onic (11-0).

Meanwhile, 7th placers Blacklist are looking to mount a comeback siege after sweeping their Week 6 matches against RSG Philippines, and Falcons AP Bren, respectively.

For Blacklist veteran Kiel "Oheb" Soriano, the team, paraded by newcomers after a massive exodus during the off-season is focused on improving.

"Sa tagal ko dito, hindi na rin ako nakatingin sa kung makakapasok ba kami or hindi sa playoffs eh. Parang yung number one na gusto kong makita sa team is makita ko talaga yung improvement namin tsaka makitang kaya namin makasabay sa lahat ng teams,”

(In my years here, I do not look at whether or not we'll be able to make it into the playoffs. What I want to see is our improvement and how we could keep up with other teams.)
