Photo by Angela Davocol/NCAA Philippines."/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">College of Saint Benilde’s Tony Ynot against Mapua University in NCAA Season 101 at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. <em>Photo by Angela Davocol/NCAA Philippines. </em></span></span></span>MANILA — Tony Ynot fired 25 points as College of Saint Benilde outclassed modern-day rival Mapua University in their Finals rematch on Tuesday, but the veteran guard quickly downplayed replicating his career game.</div><p style="line-height:1.5">“Mas masarap sa pakiramdam na makita rin yung teammates ko na nage-enjoy,” said the two-way ace after the Blazers fended off the Cardinals, 75-65, in NCAA Season 101 at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.</p><div style="line-height:1.5"><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2025/11/4/ncaa-benilde-thwarts-mapua-in-finals-rematch-at-rizal-memorial-1447">READ: Benilde thwarts Mapua in Finals rematch at Rizal Memorial</a></div><p style="line-height:1.5">The Season 100 Mythical Team member had 14 markers in the first quarter alone to lead their 18-to-nothing charge at the start of the game, and he acknowledged how relieved he was to rediscover his form.</p><p style="line-height:1.5">“Unti-unti ko na nakukuha ulit yung laro ko, nakakatulong na ulit ako,” said Ynot, who previously listed the same career-best when he was still with San Beda University in Season 98. “Pero lahat naman kami gumawa kanina.”</p><p style="line-height:1.5">But while he showed how he is still among the NCAA’s best guards, what Ynot values more is repaying the patience of his squad during his recovery from his ankle issues.</p><p style="line-height:1.5">“Masakit pa rin eh, pero kaya naman.
