Handout/Filoil</div>MANILA -- After falling short of the NCAA championship in Season 100, College of St. Benilde is hoping that the changes they made to their roster will be enough to push them over the final hurdle.The biggest piece of the puzzle -- literally and figuratively -- might just be big man Shawn Umali, who transferred to the Blazers from Lyceum of the Philippines University.So far in the preseason, he has formed a potent frontcourt tandem with NCAA Season 100 Most Valuable Player Allen Liwag and steered the Blazers to a 4-0 record in the Filoil EcoOil 18th Preseason Cup.&quot;I think it’s a bit of a matchup problem for the opposing teams. Obviously, they want to put their best big man on Allen, but Shawn is as big of a piece for us,&quot; said CSB head coach Charles Tiu.&quot;They’re two legit post threats, but at the same time, we also have to figure out how we can play them together.&quot;Even though there are still adjustments to be made, both Liwag and Umali are pleased with how they&#x27;re playing together and are looking forward to developing their partnership even more.&quot;Malaking bagay siya sa team namin. Parehas naman kaming ready to post and willing to pass, so tulungan lang din talaga,&quot; said Umali, for his part.Nonetheless, Tiu is not piling on the pressure on the big men and is instead taking the preseason as an opportunity to develop his entire squad.&quot;The team is showing some good composure and we acknowledge that this is a good opportunity for us to be better,&quot; he said. &quot;We just want to win every game we play.&quot;
