Photo from PBA Images."/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Newest TNT Tropang 5G guard Jordan Heading. <em>Photo from PBA Images.</em></span></span></span>MANILA — Jordan Heading has finally returned to the PBA hardwood, and this time, it was with his newest team, the TNT Tropang 5G.</div><p>After the deal which saw him move from the Converge FiberXers to TNT in exchange for the rights of Mikey Williams, Heading made his Tropang 5G debut on Sunday against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.</p><p>“It’s amazing, I’m so happy to get back there,” said the Filipino-Australian, who had 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists in their 97-78 loss to the Gin Kings.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2025/6/8/pba-ginebra-overwhelms-tnt-inches-closer-to-top-4-spot-2121">READ: Ginebra overwhelms TNT, inches closer to Top 4 spot</a></div><p>Heading was sidelined in the early goings of the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup due to back issues, but he said that it was just recently that he got his clearance to play again.</p><p>“They have taken me to their doctors and they have cleared me, but obviously, time is ticking, the playoffs are just around the corner,” he said. “I just wanted to get my feet wet, and my back has been feeling good, so I just wanted to fastrack my recovery by just getting into game shape.”</p><p>“That was the only way that I can judge my game, and I feel good right now,” he added.</p><p>Unfortunately, not only was his TNT debut spoiled by Ginebra; but this loss also had a huge impact on the quarterfinals twice-to-beat hopes of the Chot Reyes-mentored team.</p><p>“It was obviously not how we wanted things to go,” he said. “So we just need to get back to the drawing board.”</p><p>TNT fell to 6-4 in the team standings as they saw their six-game winning streak come to an end. It also ties them with Converge at the Nos. 5 and 6 spots as of writing.</p><p>Still, Heading remains upbeat, saying that there is still enough time for him the Grand Slam-seeking TNT to find its groove before the quarterfinals stage opens.</p><p>“It’s gonna take a little while,” he emphasized. “Good thing, we got until Friday to get back into training and run through our schemes, so by the time the playoffs start, everything can be seamless.”</p><p>TNT will face the Magnolia Hotshots on June 13, Friday, at 7:30 p.m., in a matchup that will have major implications on the positioning of the two teams in the playoffs.<strong></strong></p><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO:<br/></strong><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pbQKz9ofO1s?autoplay=1&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span> </div>
