<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1779622084959IMG_1029.jpeg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">TNT Tropang 5G’s RR Pogoy against the Meralco Bolts in Game 3 of the PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup semifinals. <em>PBA Images.</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA (<strong>UPDATED</strong>) — RR Pogoy delivered when it mattered most as the import-less TNT Tropang 5G prevailed over the Meralco Bolts, 77-75, in Game 3 of the PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup semifinals on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.</p><p>Pogoy drained the game-winning three-pointer to finish with nine points, three steals, two rebounds, and two assists, steering TNT to a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven affair.</p><p>&quot;More than the depth of our team, it was our heart,&quot; said TNT head coach Chot Reyes, as the team recovered from a 10-point deficit in the fourth frame. &quot;All about our game planning was setting our minds that we have the chance.&quot;</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2026/5/24/pba-all-filipino-tnt-battles-meralco-in-game-3-1741">READ: All-Filipino TNT battles Meralco in Game 3</a></div><p>That approach was evident in the closing moments as, despite Chris Newsome’s triple giving the Bolts a 75-74 lead with 28.2 seconds left, Pogoy answered with a pull-up trey over Cliff Hodge to put TNT ahead, 77-75.</p><p>Meralco still had 7.4 seconds to respond, but CJ Cansino and Bong Quinto missed point-blank attempts at the rim that could have sent the game to overtime.</p><p>Aside from Pogoy, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser also stepped up, scoring seven of his eight points in the fourth quarter to go along with eight rebounds and three blocks.</p><p>Rey Nambatac and Calvin Oftana led TNT in scoring with 18 and 15 points, respectively, while Jordan Heading added 12 markers.</p><p>TNT will look to build a 3-1 lead on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.
