<p>MANILA – Kent Pastrana made sure to deliver a golden ending to her already glittering UAAP career.  </p><p>Pastrana capped off her collegiate career with another championship for the University of Santo Tomas, this time in UAAP Season 88 women&#x27;s 3x3 basketball tournament.</p><p>The Golden Tigresses took down Far Eastern University, 21-11, in the final at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay on Sunday. </p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2026/5/3/uaap-luis-pablo-la-salle-take-down-rival-ateneo-to-complete-3x3-four-peat-1802">READ: Luis Pablo, La Salle take down rival Ateneo to complete 3x3 four-peat</a></div><p>The 5-foot-7 senior was vital in the Tigresses&#x27; dominant 9-0 run in the tournament, recording five points, three rebounds, and three assists in the gold medal match. Her efforts helped UST return to the top after being denied a three-peat last season. </p><p>&quot;Parang mixed emotions siya. Sobrang saya ko. At the same time nalulungot ako kasi iiwanan ko na yung team ko, yung minamahal ko na UST,&quot; Pastrana told reporters on Saturday after their triumph at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay . </p><p>&quot;Thank you sa mga teammates ko dahil sa puso nila sa laro. Sa coaches, supporters thank you sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa amin nakuha namin yung panalong ito,&quot; she added. </p><p>Coi Danganan led the way with 11 rebounds and nine points, while Brigette Santos pitched in five points in their win against FEU.</p><p>The Golden Tigresses built a dominant 15-6 lead before the Lady Tamaraws sparked a run to keep their title hopes alive. </p><p>But UST maintained their composure down the stretch, capped off by free throws from Danganan to seal the victory and the championship. </p><p>This is UST&#x27;s third UAAP women&#x27;s 3x3 basketball title in four years, after being denied a three-peat last season. </p><p>Victoria Pasilang led FEU with six points, while tournament leading scorer Amyah Espanol was limited to just two points. </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>WHERE TO NEXT FOR KENT?</strong></div><div><strong><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1777823550291UAAP88 3X3 Women&#x27;s - MVP - Kent Pastrana-22.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt="UST&#x27;s Kent Pastrana is named the Most Valuable Player of the UAAP Season 88 3x3 women&#x27;s basketball tournament, May 3, 2026 at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Sisipagan ko pa rin po kung ano yung kailangan kong gawin,&quot; she said. </p><p>When she was called up for Gilas Pilipinas Women last March, Pastrana experienced playing against top-level squads at the FIBA Women&#x27;s World Cup qualifying tournament. </p><p>While Pastrana remains unsure where she will go next, she will continue to train and work on her skills until the right opportunity arrives. </p><p>&quot;Hindi ko pa po alam. Pero overseas po. Hopefully makuha. And yun nga, kailangan paghirapan at magtatrabaho po ako para mas mag-improve po ako sa laro,&quot; she shared.</p>
