MANILA -- Global Esports and Team Secret made roster changes after the VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 concluded, letting go of Pinoy players Mark "patrickWHO" Musni and James "2GE" Goopio, respectively, as announced in their teams' social media pages.

The roster changes follow after the bottom placements of both teams in their respective group brackets during Stage 1.

patrickWHO was part of the roster overhaul of GE for the 2025 VCT season and one of the three Filipinos signed along with Federico "Papi" Evangelista and Kelly "KellyS" Sedillo.

His debut with the team was delayed after being denied a visa for South Korea where the VCT Pacific matches are held.

Former Bleed Esports player Derrick "Deryeon" Yee stood in for the Pinoy duelist during the Kickoff tournament while awaiting to reapply for a Korean visa.

But when Musni was granted a visa and debuted in Stage 1, he played a total of three matches and was benched in GE's remaining matches following the suspension of head coach Preston "Juv3nile" Dornon.

After the announcement, patrickWHO posted in X looking for a team.

"My games with GE didn’t go the way I hoped. Still have a lot I want to prove to everyone, and I’m more motivated than ever to keep grinding and competing," he added.

Coming from Rex Regum Qeon as the remaining player from the all-Filipino roster prior to the VCT partnered teams era, 2GE was signed by Team Secret during Stage 2 of the 2024 season along with Brheyanne Christ "Wild0reoo" Reyes.

With the addition of 2GE and Wild0reoo, the Adobo Gang went undefeated in the bracket matches, even defeating VALORANT Masters Shanghai champions Gen.G along the way.

But in the playoffs stage, they failed to qualify for VALORANT Champions Seoul after losing to Talon.

2025 has been a rough year for Secret so far as they went winless in Kickoff and majority of their bracket matches in Stage 1, scoring their only win against 2GE's former team RRQ in a non-bearing match.

With the release of 2GE, Secret is set to announce a replacement before Stage 2.
