F1: Singapore GP gets extended title sponsorship from flagship airline, what to expect in 2025 edition

Handout photo"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Singapore Airlines trackside branding at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. <em>Handout photo</em></span></span></span></div><p>Singapore Airlines has extended its title sponsorship to the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix for four more years.</p><p>Through this extension, the grand prix will continue to be called the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix from 2025 through 2028.</p><p>Singapore Airlines, the country’s flag carrier, has sponsored the event since 2014.</p><p>“The Singapore Grand Prix is an important event in Singapore’s sporting and tourism calendar. It has become iconic not just for showcasing our beautiful skyline, but also for highlighting Singapore’s position as a key global hub,” said Singapore Airlines chief commercial officer Lee Lik Hsin.</p><p>&quot;Singapore has become one of the most revered Grands Prix on the calendar, and it is through the hard work and dedication of partners such as Singapore Airlines that we can continue to deliver such a strong event,&quot; F1 chief commercial officer Emily Prazer said.</p><div><strong>WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2025 SINGAPORE GP?</strong></div><p>The 2025 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix is scheduled on October 3 to 5.</p><p>Drivers battling in the challenging curves of the Marina Bay Street Circuit against the city night skyline of the rich Southeast Asian country makes it one of the crowd favorites among the F1 calendar.</p><p>For Filipino race fans who want to watch a live race, Singapore GP is an easy option due to its proximity.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=476&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FabscbnNEWS%2Fvideos%2F1203157337556476%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=267&amp;t=0" width="267" height="476" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>McLaren driver Lando Norris won the race in 2024.
