Jane and RK on how love, trust and teamwork shape their relationship on and off cam

In a recent episode of “Tao Po,” Jane Oineza and RK Bagatsing opened up about their relationship, careers, and experiences while shooting their film, “Love Child.”

Jane humorously likened the experience of filming “Love Child” to a "free trial" of parenthood without the "lifetime subscription." RK shared that, despite the challenges and uncertainties, having Jane by his side made the journey less daunting. "Kahit nakakatakot, kahit nakakakaba, parang okay, okay lang ‘yan. Kaya natin ‘to," he said.

Through this journey, RK gained a deeper appreciation for Jane, particularly her ability to connect with children. "I realized na sobrang galing niya sa bata... Grabe ‘yong capacity niya, eventually if she is going to be a mom, she can be great at it," he remarked, highlighting Jane's nurturing nature.

When asked if they are ready to become parents in real life, Jane was candid in her response. She shared that there are still many things she wants to accomplish before bringing a child into the world. Similarly, when it comes to marriage, Jane emphasized that it's not a matter of whether they want to get married but rather, "we'll get there."

For now, both Jane and RK are focused on their careers. Jane, who began her acting career at the age of four, explained that her passion for the craft stemmed from a desire to explore different versions of herself. RK, on the other hand, comes from a family of talented artists. He grew up watching his brother, Raymond Bagatsing, and his sister, Monina Bagatsing, who was part of ABS-CBN's Star Circle. While RK initially pursued basketball and even played in the UAAP, shifted his priorities, leading him to follow in his siblings’ footsteps.

Their relationship blossomed in the world of showbiz, with a viral TikTok video in 2021 revealing their off-screen chemistry. Despite the public nature of their relationship, the celebrity couple stressed that trust is the cornerstone of their bond. They've witnessed many showbiz relationships crumble, but RK believes that a successful relationship is about inspiring each other to grow rather than holding each other back. As for jealousy, they admitted that while they don't get jealous of specific people, certain scenes—like kissing scenes—can be challenging. However, they strive to understand that it's all part of the job.

To give fans a better understanding of their dynamic, Jane and RK played a fun game of "Who's Most Likely To" on the show. They revealed that they both love photography and try their best to take the best photos of each other. Jane is the more responsible one when it comes to finances, but she emphasized that everything in their relationship is a team effort. Although they admitted that they tend to be more laid-back, with lots of laughter, Jane knows she can always open up to RK when needed.
