She’s into writing stories (this came first before songwriting), shooting videos, as well as reading, watching movies, and listening to and producing different types of music. Maybe it comes with her being a Gemini, the zodiac sign of expert multitaskers. And, do you know what else she’s good at? She calls herself an expert in killing flies and mosquitos.But there are more things on her mind that needs to get done. She wishes to make it globally as a singer-songwriter, perform at the biggest venues, and win a Grammy. Ultimately, her goal is to touch people with her music.Her dream role? Tapos, siyempre, ‘yung acting.” After ‘Teen Clash,’ she wants to further grow as an actress and do roles similar to Emily in Paris, Hunger Games, and apocalyptic movies.She was born on June 1, 2003 (19 years old) and her favorite colors are mint green and lavender. If you wish to make her happy, bring her Japanese food, Italian food, and salty snacks.Her current LSS is “Die For You (Remix)” by The Weekend and Ariana Grande. She’s a huge fan of Harry Styles’ music, too. Her favorite vacation spot is Coron, Palawan, “It’s one of the most beautiful places that I’ve been to.”“Always have a teachable spirit” is her life motto, which was instilled by her dad. “The moment you start thinking that you can’t learn anything more is the end of your career. So, always have a teachable spirit,” she imparted.She describes herself as very musical, family-oriented, loving, caring, vulnerable, overthinker, determined, and a bit stubborn sometimes. She’s not perfect “pero kapag nagmahal si Jayda, nagmamahal siya talaga nang totoo.”And she’s a fangirl, too! She remembers the ‘kilig’ feeling when she saw Daniel Padilla in person during ‘ninong’ Ogie Alcasid’s concert. “Noong una ko siyang na-meet, nine years old ‘ata ako… ‘Yun talaga ‘yung kasagsagan ng Got 2 Believe. He was really on the rise. No’ng una ko siyang na-meet, hindi ko talaga siya celebrity crush noon. Pero after ko siya ma-meet, ‘yun, parang siya ‘yung naging unang celebrity crush ko.” She’s also a certified Directioner or One Direction fan, and Niall Horan is her favorite member.Her first audition was for a musical in 4th grade. Her first showbiz friend is Darren Espanto. She considers Catriona Gray as one of her showbiz role models, “I admire her grace. She’s someone that I look up to, ‘yung intelligence niya as a woman. She is confident pero hindi siya mayabang. Honestly, I can see she has a good heart. I’ve met her a couple of times and sobrang bait ni Ate Cat.&quot; Of course, her parents Jessa Zaragoza and Dingdong Avanzado are also her role models.Asked to define love, she answered, “Love is a choice. It is a feeling as well, but naniniwala ako na it is love when you make the conscious choice to love somebody kahit minsan mahirap silang mahalin. I think doon nate-test ‘yung pag-ibig, eh.
