Being one of the brightest and well-loved young stars of her generation, there’s definitely no doubt that Francine Diaz is one of the most awaited Kapamilya artists to grace the first-ever <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/starmagic/articles-news/revisit-the-magnificent-whimsical-moments-during-the-first-ever-star-magical-prom-19405" target="_blank">Star Magical Prom</a> held last March 30 at The Bellevue Manila in Muntinlupa City.And she, of course, didn’t disappoint as she got onlookers and her fervent fans alike fascinated by her splendor as she stunned in an elegant applique lemon yellow belted ballgown with feathered sleeves and side pockets, which was revealed to be a creation of esteemed fashion designer Val Taguba.For those who have been wondering how she and her glam team came up with that absolutely mesmerizing look, she gave us a glimpse of their preparations in her latest vlog. She also included snippets of some of her behind-the-scenes ganaps prior the event, which you surely haven’t seen yet on social media.In that vlog, she disclosed the reason why she chose yellow, which happens to be the color of her fandom, too! She related, “Why yellow? It’s because we all know naman na yellow means happiness, we think of sunshine. And ano ba ‘yong goal sa prom night? To have fun and to be happy, di ba? So, that’s why I chose this color and also kapag nakatingin tayo sa color yellow, nakaka-boost ng confidence and it complements my skin. So, this is perfect for me.”When it comes to her makeup, artist RB Chanco said that since Francine is a Gen Z and a ball of sunshine, she made sure to make her look modern and young without shying away from the “Bridgerton” theme, which was set in the early years of the 19th century. They’re able to pull it off with the help of her stylists Drew Lacia and Jakie Mendoza and hairstylist Angel Jamelarin.Her current loveteam partner and prom date Seth Fedelin, meanwhile, chose to wait for her at her hotel room while she was preparing as he wanted to be one of those who would see her first once she’s done. Her Ninang Dra. Vicky Belo also paid her a visit to check on her and give her a gift for her birthdayOnce both she and Seth were done, their photos and videos were taken before they left the hotel and proceeded to the venue. They went there in a white sleek Rolls Royce, which was lent to her by her generous fairy godmother Dra.
