Gela Atayde is set to make her first foray into acting via “Senior High,” which also stars Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, Zaijian Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, and JK Labajo. Her mom, Sylvia Sanchez, is part of the cast, too.

As we anticipate the series, let’s get to know Gela better via Kapamilya Chat Firsts. In this game, she would go through a list of questions about her many firsts in life, starting off with her first achievement. It would have to be winning second-runner up with her group in a dance competition in 2016.

She first performed on stage in 2014 for a G-Force dance workshop.

Her first overseas vacation, according to her mom, was probably in Malaysia or Hong Kong. Gela loves fashion, thus her first splurge would have to be on clothes.

Gela was 6 when she had her first crush, and it was Justin Bieber. She had her first heartbreak at the age of 17. The first person to inspire her to become better was her dad, who’d always tell them to stick to their values.

Many of Gela’s interests were influenced by her mom. For instance, she fell in love with cooking because of her mom’s background in culinary. And she was able to hone this skill during the pandemic. Beef Gyudon was the first recipe she mastered in the kitchen.

Gela also revealed that she 5 piercings on the left ear, and 1 on the right. Getting a tattoo sounds cool but her parents would not allow her.
