The stars have truly aligned for Kobie Brown and Andi Abaya as they continue to be blessed with projects, one of which is the latest episode of Love Bites titled “Miss Astrologer.” And as they flip the script page by page, they also get to strengthen their partnership behind the cameras.

Kobie opens the conversation by sharing about his recent birthday celebration with loved ones, Andi included. His ‘Titas’ met her for the first time and they all liked her.

The real-life story of KoDrea, how they found each other inside the Pinoy Big Brother house to become one of today’s rising loveteams is truly serendipitous. Similarly, their characters in Love Bites: “Miss Astrologer,” Kristine, and Eli, respectively, will meet in an unconventional way. A relationship will bloom from there with the help of Kristine’s penchant for all things astrology.

Andi relates to her on-screen persona in that she grew up in a family of Feng Shui believers. Although not a hardcore fan of horoscopes, she reads them when they appear on her social media feed for just a little motivation. Kobie isn’t that invested in horoscopes as well, but he admittedly checked their compatibility before.

When it comes to traits, Andi thinks she’s caring and selfless like Kristine, while Kobie was once like Eli who keeps his feelings to himself. He thought opening up to others will only make him a burden. This changed through the help of Big Brother, who taught him to be more vulnerable.

Taking the lead in this Love Bites episode came with a bout of pressure. Then, it was replaced by excitement, thanks to director Dado Lumibao, who was generous with his guidance. According to KoDrea, Direk Dado explains precisely the emotions required in every scene, keeping it easier to deliver.

In light of the episode’s theme, KoDrea was asked about their thoughts on finding their perfect match. Speaking like a queen, Andi pressed that a ‘perfect’ match does not exist, but two people can work out their differences if the love is real.

“Alam kong we’re all different. We have differences at may compromise sa mga differences na ‘to. Pero kahit may mga bagay na hindi kayo mag-a-agree on, kaya n’yo pa rin naman maging match. Kaya n’yo pa rin mag-connect bilang mga tao because it still depends on how much you care for the person, how much you love the person, how much you want to keep and cherish the person,” reflects Andi, with Kobie adding that we’re all humans and therefore perfection does not exist.

He muses, “I don’t think there’s a perfect relationship. It’s normal to have a little argument, get into fights. You experience good times. You experience bad times. “
