Nikki Valdez reminisced about her memorable ‘firsts’ in this fun challenge in Kapamilya Chat!

In the game called “Kapamilya Chat Firsts,” Nikki revealed that her first splurge from her ‘artista’ salary was most likely food or travel as she isn’t a materialistic person.

Speaking of travel, she will never forget her first time in an airplane. She was then headed to Pohnpei, an island in Guam, and she was so scared. Similarly, her first time meeting her “Labyu With An Accent” co-star Jodi Sta Maria was when they became seatmates on a plane ride to an out-of-town show, “Takot pala siya sumakay din sa plane. I was comforting her. I was telling her, ‘It’s okay. Huwag kang matakot.’”

It has been 25 years since she first stepped into showbiz, so we totally understand if she couldn’t recall when and where her first-ever on-stage performance was.

The first recipe she mastered in the kitchen was her mom’s version of spaghetti. Speaking of mom, she was the first person who inspired Nikki to be a better individual.

Like many of us, she fell in love with K-Dramas during the lockdown and the first series she religiously watched was “Vincenzo.” Asked about the first time she got heartbroken, all Nikki said is that she was already an actress at that time.
