This allowed him to showcase his talents and be discovered, paving the way for him to score projects in ABS-CBN.From simply showing off his dancing and hosting skills, he had his acting debut by appearing in two <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/maalaalamokaya" target="_blank">Maalaala Mo Kaya</a> episodes that year, namely “Picture” and <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/bananasplit" target="_blank">Banana Split</a>. He once again got cast in three episodes the following year, including his own life story titled “Motorsiklo”, through which he’s able to introduce himself to the viewers and exhibit his dramatic chops.In 2017, Ronnie landed his first-ever teleserye role in the primetime series <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/alovetolast" target="_blank">A Love To Last</a>, wherein he was paired with Julia Barretto. He then topbilled the “Pikon” episode of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/ipaglabanmo" target="_blank">Ipaglaban Mo</a>, in which he was able to display his versatility as an actor.A year after, he had the chance to work alongside his girlfriend Loisa Andalio as her leading man in <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/wansapanataym" target="_blank">Wansapanataym Presents Gelli In A Bottle</a>. In 2019, he portrayed professional basketball player Paul Desiderio, who used to play for University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons, in the “Jersey” episode of MMK. It was succeeded by his stint in the Angel Locsin-starrer <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/thegeneralsdaughter" target="_blank">The General’s Daughter</a>, wherein he was once again played the love interest of Loisa.LoiNie, as what his well-loved tandem with Loisa is called, then spread kilig vibes to their avid fans when they headlined the <a href="https://app.iwanttfc.com/Mkr3OdLk6ab" target="_blank">iWantTFC</a> original series “Unloving U” released in 2021.The Kapamilya love team is also seen in “The Goodbye Girl,” now streaming on iWantTFC, and even were among the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/starmagic/articles-photos/happenings-at-the-kapamilya-strong-2022-15595" target="_blank">Star Magic talents who renewed their loyalty and commitment to ABS-CBN in the recent Kapamilya Strong 2022 contract signing event</a>.Way to go, Ronnie!
