In her speech, she recognized the people behind her enduring career including her very first acting coaches. If there’s one thing Desiree learned in her more than 2 decades in the industry, it’s that showbiz is a survival of the fittest. “And I’m very happy that I’m still here, hopefully, for as long as I can,” she reflected.
