When a marriage gets broken due to infidelity, the most common consequence is the couple turning into mortal enemies, like what happened to Jill (Jodi Sta Maria) and David (Zanjoe Marudo) in <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/tbmv2022">The Broken Marriage Vow</a>. They took on the ugly path toward revenge after Jill discovered David’s affair, resulting in some of the most intense confrontations and even physical fights in the teleserye, shown in this Kapamilya Toplist.Jill and David’s annulment process was a real struggle. The cheating husband refused to cooperate and had the audacity to ask for respect at one point, pushing Jill to her limits. Then, it got more complicated when David used their son Gio (Zaijian Jaranilla) to delay the process and distress Jill even more.David was offended when Jill cited his psychological incapacity as a ground for annulment. With wounded ego, which all he got at the time, he kept troubling her by taking Gio out without permission. One time, David got Gio a new motorcycle, which led to a slight accident and influenced his child to break the rules.David thought Jill’s suicide attempt would work to his advantage. But Jill chose to settle and move forward, which is probably a wrong move since David’s freedom allowed him to be more arrogant.Just as when Jill was finally at peace, David returned to Baguio, ready to wreak havoc in her life. The first plan was to take Gio. In order to do that, he must break Gio and Jill’s relationship by destroying the latter’s reputation. He’d demonize her using her closeness with Gabby (Jake Ejercito).With Gio in the middle, the ex-couple engaged in an intense, never-ending tug-of-war. David said he won’t stop hounding Jill until she raises the white flag and leave Baguio. However, Jill shows no signs of conceding. She’s the victim, after all. As Jill and David lock horns, their son Gio is compelled to rebel against them. Now their points of argument are all about Gio – where he’s supposed to stay, which school is best for him, and everything that affects his future – without realizing that their twisted relationship is one reason he got off the right path.It seems Jill and David’s clash is just getting more exciting.
